Basketball Clinches Second Seed in NEWMAC Postseason Tournament

WESTWOOD – With the conclusion of the 2023-2024 women's basketball regular season on Saturday afternoon, Smith College and Springfield College finish in a tie for the regular season title at 10-1. Springfield has emerged as the top seed in the NEWMAC Women's Basketball Championship by virtue of the conference tiebreaking criteria. The NEWMAC Women's Basketball Championship consists of eight teams that will compete for the crown, which will begin on Wednesday, February 21 with the quarterfinal round.
