[Baseball] Early runs do Tigers in against Lions

Jake Manderson had a slow start Friday in the Mid-South Conference Tournament, day two of the double-elimination. The freshman was touched up for three runs, but steady the ship to go eight in a 4-1 loss to Freed-Hardeman University.That will be key as the Tigers (33-17) fall into the consolation bracket and must win three to make the finals and then when twice against the same opponent to win the title. Manderson struck out 11 and limited the Lions (25-21) to just one more run in the final seven innings.
