Barrow Named NEWMAC Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week

Wellesley College basketball first year guard Trinity Barrow (Evans, Ga.) earned the NEWMAC Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week award for the week ending December 10, 2023.

Barrow guided the Blue to a pair of wins over Lasell and Nichols this past week. The first year recorded the first triple-double for Wellesley since 2014 with 10 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in a 75-69 win over Nichols last Friday. Barrow averaged 9.5 rebounds per game and 3.5 steals per game and helped the Blue limit opponents to 35.1% shooting from the field last week.
