#11 Smith Basketball Comes Up Short Against Springfield

NORTHAMPTON – Trailing by as many as 13 points in the first half, the 11th-ranked Smith basketball team rallied to take a fourth quarter lead, but Springfield came back to beat the Pioneers, 70-68, in a key New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest Wednesday evening inside Ainsworth Gymnasium.
