Tritons' Spirit Night Contest to Air on Spectrum SportsNet

The Big West announced that UC San Diego's Spirit Night showdown against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 23 will be televised live on Spectrum SportsNet, the TV home of the Los Angeles Lakers. That contest highlights a schedule of 16 men's and women's basketball games airing on Spectrum SportsNet throughout the 2024-25 season. 

UC San Diego's annual Spirit Night returns on Thursday, Jan. 23 when the Tritons host UC Santa Barbara. 2025 will mark the 40th anniversary of the yearly tradition, which includes awarding the Cup of Cheer. Spirit Night and The Cup of Cheer is set to create and foster a friendly competition among the seven UC San Diego colleges and celebrate what it means to be a Triton.
