SCSU Men's Basketball Falls To New Haven, 58-51

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut men's basketball lost to New Haven, 58-51, in a Northeast 10 matchup in West Haven, Con. With the loss, Southern drops to 12-5 overall and 7-3 in conference play while New Haven improves to 11-4 overall and 8-2 in NE10 action.

Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) led the Owls with 17 points, including 10 in the first half, while Marty Silvera (Worcester, Mass.) had 10 points, five rebounds and four assists. Cherif Diarra (Queens, N.Y.) totaled 12 rebounds, with six points, including six offensive rebounds. Zach Penn (New Hartford, Conn.) had eight points and nine rebounds. Kazell Stewart (East Hartford, Conn.) came off the bench to total seven points and five rebounds.
