Rangers edged by Orediggers in five sets in South Central Regional quarterfinals

DENVER, Colo. — Squaring off against a familiar foe for the third time this fall, the No. 3 seed Regis University volleyball team came up just shy of knocking off No. 6 seed Colorado School of Mines, falling in five thrilling sets (19-25, 25-22, 30-32, 25-18 and 12-15) on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Tournament.
