Men’s basketball pulls off upset of West Virginia State in MEC Quarterfinals

WHEELING, W.Va. – For the first time since 2019, Notre Dame College will be in the Mountain East Conference Tournament Semifinals. On Friday night, the five seed Falcons pulled off the upset over four seed West Virginia State University, by a score of 92-79. Sophomore Obinna Ugwuakazi went off for 22 points and 19 rebounds and all five NDC starters scored in double-digits.
