Men’s Basketball Defeated By Oklahoma, 79-77, In The Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The Providence College men's basketball team fell to the Oklahoma Sooners (5-0), 79-77, in a non-conference game on Wednesday, Nov. 27 in Paradise Island, Bahamas. With the loss, the Friars dropped to 5-1 on the season. Wesley Cardet (Tallahassee, Fla.) led the Friars with a team-high 17 points, going 6-9 from the field, while adding two threes. Jayden Pierre (Elizabeth, N.J.) and Bensley Joseph (Arlington, Mass.) chipped in 16 points each. Pierre also added a team high 6 rebounds. Pierre had a three rim out as time expired in the game that would have proved to be the game winner.
