Ichabod newcomers recognized by MIAA for academic success

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Newcomer and freshman academic honors for the MIAA released on Monday morning including recognition for 129 student-athletes across every sport. The Ichabods had 13 earn MIAA Academic Excellence with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average along with 12 earning MIAA Scholar-Athlete honors after recording at least a 3.5 grade point average while earning all-MIAA honors during their respective season. There were 129 named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll which requires a 3.00 GPA at the certifying member institution with at least two terms of grades reported, excluding summer terms.
